VPN Connection
Selecting IP Range for Tunneling
- By default, the IP range for tunneling is set to 10.0.0.0/8. If required, you can select a different IP range for your tunnel during the setup process.
- If required, you can modify the DNS as well.
Downloading and Installing VPN Gateway Server
- Download the VPN Gateway Server.
- After the download is complete, proceed to configure the virtual machine using the provided .ova file.
- Ensure that the virtual machine’s ports, specifically 8001 (TCP) and 5000 (UDP), are properly configured to be accessible.
- Once the VPN gateway is set up, it can be added to the list of VPN gateways.
Add VPN Gateway Servers
- After successfully configuring the VPN gateway, integrate it into the system by providing essential details such as name, IP address, client port for UDP, and API port for TCP.
- Upon clicking on ‘fetch key + add,’ the system will attempt to retrieve and attach a public key to the gateway profile.
- If successful, the public key will be visibly linked to the newly added VPN gateway, confirming its integration into the network infrastructure.
