BYOD

Click on “Devices” in the Dashboard.

Select “iOS” on the left panel.
-
Select “Enroll Device”, then choose “BYOD” type.
-
After selecting the device type, click “Enroll Device”.
-
A QR code will be generated, which you can either scan directly or send to the user’s email.
NOTE: As of iOS 18, you will be prompted to wait for one hour to enroll the device.
Fully Managed
-
Download and Install Apple Configurator on your system.
-
Click “File” then “New Profile” and select “Wi-Fi”.
-
Create a “Wi-Fi Profile.”
-
Save the Wi-Fi profile.
-
Once that is complete, click again on “File” and create a new “Blueprint”.
-
Save the Blueprint file.
-
Open the newly created Blueprint file.
-
Add the Wi-Fi profile created earlier.
-
Right-click on the Blueprint and select “Prepare.”
-
Choose “Manual Configuration.”
-
Enable “Add to Apple School Manager” or “Apple Business Manager” depending upon the option you would like to use.
-
Add Server details by entering the Server Name and Enrollment URL (from the Dashboard).
-
Trust Anchor Certificates are automatically added (if fetching takes too long), please proceed to the next step.

Fill in the details for when creating a new organization, once you are done, click “Next.”
-
Choose “Generate a new supervision identity” unless you have previously created one then select “Choose an existing supervision identity.”

Enter Apple Business Manager (ABM) Credentials (if adding devices to DEP). [Optional]
-
Click on “Prepare.”
-
Configure “iOS Setup Assistant” with your desired settings.

Connect Devices to Mac via USB:
-
Select the devices in Apple Configurator.
-
Apply the created blueprint to the devices.
NOTE: If you have an existing Apple ID, the device will prompt you to enter your username and password before proceeding, as the process involves fully wiping your device

The device will restart and accept the new profile, completing enrollment.

On the MDM Product server console, find the “Enrollment URL” under Apple Configurator.
-
Provide the URL in Apple Configurator.
-
Locate the device in the Devices section under iOS and then in the Unassigned tab.
-
Click Sync Now to refresh and see the newly added devices in the list.
-
Select the device(s), click Assign Device, and the device will be assigned successfully.
Single App Kiosk (Fully Managed)

Download and Install Apple Configurator on your system.

Click “File” then “New Profile” and select “Wi-Fi”.

Create a “Wi-Fi Profile.”

Save the Wi-Fi profile.
