OS Update

  • Click on the “Update Manager” tab.

  • Once inside the Update Manager, click on “iOS” then on “OS Update”.

  • Select a Group and click the triple dot located on the right side of the group you have chosen.

  • Choose the “Policy Type” method.

  • Automatic Update: Select this option if you want the group’s devices to automatically update their OS as soon as a new update becomes available.

  • Windowed Update: Select this option if you want the OS update to happen within a specific time window. You will set the desired time frame during which the updates should occur.

  • Postpone Update: Choose this option if you prefer the company to manually decide when the OS update will take place. The update will not happen until you trigger it.

  • Once you are finished, click “Distribute”. You also have the option to distribute to all groups.

  • It should be sent to all the users depending upon the policy type you have chosen.

App Update

  • Click on the “Update Manager” tab.

  • Once inside the Update Manager, click on “iOS” then on “App Update”.

  • Click “Select” on the right side of the window.

  • Choose the apps you want to distribute.

  • Click “Distribute” Policy to apply the update.

  • Choose the “Policy Type” method.

  • Automatic Update: Select this option if you want the group’s devices to automatically update their OS as soon as a new update becomes available.

  • Windowed Update: Select this option if you want the OS update to happen within a specific time window. You will set the desired time frame during which the updates should occur.

  • Postpone Update: Choose this option if you prefer the company to manually decide when the OS update will take place. The update will not happen until you trigger it.

  • Select a “Group”.

  • Once you are finished, click “Distribute”. You also have the option to distribute to all the groups.
